Requesting leave

1. 1People → Absences → New request: a period and a type. The working days are counted now and stored.
2. 2A manager or admin approves or rejects. Nobody decides their own.
3. 3Approved leave shows on the shared calendar; a pending request does not.

Two overlapping approved absences for one person cannot exist — the database holds that. The second approver gets an "overlap" answer.

Holidays and moved working days

People → Calendar. Hungarian public holidays are computed per year (the Easter-dependent ones included), and this year's and next year's calendars are seeded at registration. What cannot be computed — a Saturday made a working day by decree — an admin enters. Re-importing a year does not delete what you entered.

Leaving

On the person's page, the last day. From the day after they cannot sign in; their records stay; their open work is handed over in one step from the panel on the People page, to somebody still here. Their pending leave requests are cancelled, not moved.
