MCP
The same data for an AI assistant, as tools, with the same key.

The /api/mcp endpoint offers tools to a model over the Model Context Protocol: search contacts, list deals, pipeline summary, tasks, cash-flow forecast, receivables ageing, stalled deals, create a contact, deal, task or note, move a deal, your own record types, website pages. Every tool writes through the same helper the screens do — a stage move writes history, a note lands on the timeline. A refusal is a result rather than an error, so the model reads it and tries something else.
What it needs

The same as for the REST API; write scope is needed for the writing tools.
Connecting it
- 1Create an API key under Settings → API.
- 2In your MCP client, add the server at https://<your host>/api/mcp with an Authorization: Bearer header.
- 3The client lists the tools; the descriptions are the documentation — the model sees nothing else.
- 4Writes are attributed to whoever created the key: a key is not a person, but somebody authorised it.
